2) Select the OLA server.
After registering and PRIOR to doing anything on the beginner’s tutorial you need to choose the proper server in the drop down menu in the upper right corner. Below is a screenshot of it with a blue box around it.

~420SWC420~ is located on the OLA server. If your in ~420SWC420~, please select the OLA server so that you will be located close to ~420SWC420~ members. Otherwise the transit time for your troops is going to take forever. If you don’t choose the OLA server before starting the tutorial then you’re going to have to start over on the OLA server!
BUILDING ON MORE THAN ONE SERVER: If you are building on many servers, you should be able to switch back n forth and the timers will continue to run and your resources should regenerate. But begin on the OLA server to be near us.
MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT: So far we haven’t had any issues making more than one account which we think will come in handy to have more troops to work with later on. A quick skim of the TOS didn’t show that they will ban for having more than one account per IP. Yet, this could always be subject to change. You just leave one tab open, open another, log out, and log into the next account.
3) Finish the Beginners tutorial. After the game’s tutorial shows you around. Click the job “File” to continue building your Estate by clicking the first box in the row of boxes at the bottom.

Be sure to go back once the job is complete to click the red “Collect button” to get more resource rewards.

4) At some point in the tutorial, they will ask you to join one of the Five families. CHOOSE CUNEO FAMILY. Please note that CUNEO members are identified by the RED family Badge.

5) JOIN the ~420SWC420~ crew. ~420SWC420~ is one of the crews inside the CUNEO family. At some point in the tutorial, you will also need to send a request to join ~SWC~ and then I will approve you. If you want to do this now, click the last box on the bottom right to get to the Crew Tab. This will show you all the crews and individuals in the CUNEO family. Search for ~420SWC420~ and request to join. Once approved, you can view the members of ~420SWC420~ and their level of “Respect,” a stat on this game that we are trying to build up to improve our crew rank (will be discussed later).

6) Three main sections to work with are on the far right above the chat box.

The top button will show the main elements of your Estate: Mansion, Library, Warehouse, Garage, Workshop, Armory, Guest House, Front Wall, Front Gate, and Guard Post. The middle button will show your Land Lots. The last button will show you the surrounding City.
IMPORTANT TIP: In the land lot and city tab you can left click on the screen and drag the screen to reveal more area. This is very important and a little tricky but you’ll catch on. In the middle tab for land lots, some of your open lots are hidden until you click and drag to see all of the lots. You can drag it all around in various directions. There is a harbor with boats at the bottom. Spend some time making sure the entire scene is revealed so that you’re using all your lots to build resources. Also in the beginning I would get all your Level 1 buildings built to get your resources flowing then upgrade each building as you get the resources continually unless it’s a good time for your to build somethings that takes awhile. The Estate upgrades take much longer for each level you upgrade. So use some time management and upgrade the long ones before you go to bed or work. So you can use the time your online to get the shorter upgrades done. You can view a summary of your resource income and bonuses, by click in the black bar at the top by your resources.

7) Objective: Your long term goal will be to create a strong army and estate, and to take cityspaces from the enemy families (the other four families). However, in the beginning it’s all about the resources so you can attain the long-term goal. So constantly build and upgrade resources. Don’t worry about troops as much in the beginning except to establish some cityspaces since those add a bonus to your resource income.
8) PROTECTION: You are under a week of protection from the day you make the account which means that your main estate will not be attacked by enemy families and crews. I do believe that you can lose your protection if you hit a cityspace that belongs to an actual player. These cityspaces are categorized as “occupied” when you click them. They will also have a family badge on top of the cityspace identifying what family in which they belong. As of Nov 19, 2011 I believe they are having some bugs on the game with the badges not displaying correctly so pay attention to the information when you click on the cityspaces. Please refrain from hitting any Barzini badges since they are our family. My suggestion is that during the week of protection do not do any real fighting and do not hit cityspaces with a family badge. You need this time to build your estate. Unoccupied cityspaces are all over the place and will help you to get a cityspace to get your resource bonuses and to complete the job list. You can see how much longer you have until protection ends underneath your “Respect” and “Experience” (the numbers by your avatar in top left) there is blue shield to click.
9) CHATS: If you are new you should seek advice from the leaders of ~SWC~ ~SWC2~ & ~420SWC420~ in the chat for crew on the right tab. Please note there are three chats: one for everyone including enemies, one for the family (CUNEO), and one for the ~SWC~ crews. Please do not discuss ~SWC~ matters in the other chats and let the leaders of ~SWC~ handle the communication with the CUNEO family and enemies (“All” chat on the far left).
10) PLAYER PROFILE: Click the avatar to find useful information.
![]()
The number in red is your total experience which applies your level. You get experience by building your estate and completing the jobs. As you level you receive resources and access to more easy cash so leveling is good. Your level is the number in black and white in the circle next to the avatar. Your “Respect” points are in black under your experience points. The respect will help your crew to out rank others crews in the CUNEO family. The person with the most respect in the CUNEO family gets the label of “Don.” However, this could change on a daily basis if people are competing for it. Respect is a comparable number of how much building, research, and successful combat results you have achieved compared to others.
11) EASY CASH: There are four spots to get EASY cash with a click. A green dollar sign pops up when it’s available. I have circled the spots in green on the screen shot.

The spots with the locks on it unlock at various levels. The information is provided on the times when u click it.
12) THE CITY TAB:
Click the third tab on far left above chat. The neighborhoods are categorized as slums, junkyards, parks, Black Hand gang territories, and cityspaces. The other families have their own badges with different colors and symbols on top of their cityspaces. You will see an endless matrix of city blocks with the various categories I mentioned. You can left click and drag to reveal more the neighborhood. I find it helpful to click the junkyard or parks or slums for an area to click and drag. These sections do not have any significance or popups. Note that each block is identified by a coordinate which looks like 104/630. There are two coordinate boxes to the left of the red experience number near the avatar. You can type in the coordinates of a particular location, enemy, or friend to find it.
CITYSPACES
Cityspaces may either be unoccupied or occupied. If there is a badge on the property then it is currently occupied by that particular family.
STRATEGY:
To begin, I believe the Mansion, Library, and Warehouse (in this order) are the most important buildings to initially build and upgrade the most. These buildings have a direct impact on the four main resources: MONEY, FOOD, STEEL, and CEMENT which can be seen at the top of the screen. As you upgrade your mansion you receive more land lots and cityspaces. Keep your land lots filled up and upgrade whenever possible in the middle tab on far left. In the beginning, take UNoccupied cityspaces to fill up your cityspaces tab on the “File” tab. These cityspaces give you a bonus % increase to your resources. To find out what the increase is for that particular level hover over the cityspace. Each level of cityspace is going to require a certain amount of troops depending on the level. Its not an exact science yet but someone in the forums posted a guideline which I will repost here. This seems pretty reasonable so far. We may adjust this as we get more intel.

As you progress, build the building you need to meet requirements but concentrate on the mansion, library, and warehouse first, Warehouse will protect your resources if you get attacked. The wall, Guard Post and Front Gate will then take priority a couple days before coming off protection to help to defend your estate if it is attacked. You need a head start on these because at higher levels these upgrades take a long time but you need the resources to complete it so that is why I said mansion, library and warehouse come first. Try to get as much done before you come off protection. The Garage, Workshop, Guest House, and Armory has more to do with combat and training troops which you will want to get upgraded when you have enough resources to build a massive army. You need some troop sto stay at home and protect your estate, to fight enemies for fellow crew members and to reinforce your cityspaces. Your going to have to make decision on where and how to allocate your troops. Some troops with die off in combat, so you need to replenish them continually. Upgrading the wall will help the health of your estate and researching medicine will help as well. The front gate will help you to gain more info about who is attacking you as you upgrade it. You should also build up the defensive gear in the wall to help protect your estate. The guard posts upgrades help reduce the training time for the defensive items like barbed wire, booby traps, guard dogs, and armed guards.
13) FAMILY BADGES: The other families have their own badges with different colors and symbols. Click the city tab. You will see an endless matrix of neighborhoods. The neighborhoods are categorized as slums, junkyards, parks, Black Hand gang territories, and cityspaces. Cityspaces may either be unoccupied or occupied. If there is a badge on the property then it is currently occupied by that particular family.

Note: the particular block circled is a CUNEO Property. You can tell by the RED badge on it.
FAMILY OBJECTIVE: The main objective of all the families is to get more territory than any other family.

The screenshot shows the badges of the five different families. It also shows the percentage of territory owned by that family. The top four families receive a resource bonus marked “Family Rank Bonus” in the resource summary (click black bar by the resources at the top).
“Family Rank Bonus”
Number 1 gets 4% increase,
Number 2 gets 3% increase,
Number 3 gets 2% increase,
Number 4 gets 1% increase,
Number 5 gets ZILCH,
All of the bonuses % increases are important for building resources faster
1) Research
2) Resource Boosts in your inventory from you lucky card (girl on the right) or shop
3) Armory items
4) Cityscapes (you get more as you level your mansion)
5) Family Rank Bonus
6) Crew Rank Bonus
7) Other
14)ARMORY: Armory Items can be awards when you successful defeat a Black Hand gang. These are not actual players but a way to fill up your armory with items that give resource, attack and health increases. You can use the same guideline posted for attacking cityscapes. You must go to the armory and upgrade it as you get bigger items from higher level black hand gangs. (Their emblem looks like a yellow diamond.) And equip the item. You can only equip one item in each of the 4 item categories. Equip the items that you want that have the best overall increase which will be the higher level items.
15) OVERALL STRATEGY in COMBAT: As we get more experience with this game I am sure we all will come up with some kickass strategies. Here are some of the things Ive heard people discuss:
1) When several folks are attacking a target you can time how long it will take so everyone can get there at same time. Everyone’s transit time for troop deployment will be different depending on how far away they are from the enemy. You can test attack people with one Courier to find out what they are fighting with and see how long the transit time takes. However, I do see some downside to that because you warn them and you also may get a location that takes hours and that will stall your deployment.
2) To take a target down, hit their cityspaces if you can find them to deplete their resources first then hit the estate til they run out of troops with multiple deployments at one time from many crew members, This sounds reasonable athough the timing may be tricky.
3) Don’t forget to send delivery trucks and couriers because they can snatch up more loot, less resources for them and more for us.
4) When attacking may sure you have enough to win the fight by checking it out with a courier first so that you don’t lose all your troops if defeated- a very expensive mistake.
16) QUICK GUIDES: Here are the official quick guides on the forums with more detailed information
SUMMARY: KICKASS AND TAKE NAMES! This is all I can think for now but as we get more experience we may need to adjust these strategies.
